Tomato time! (like Hammer Time, but different)
Productivity isn’t always my strong suit. Sometimes I just don’t wanna…and being my own boss doesn’t help because I know I won’t fire me if I slack off.
Once while I was procrastinating, I wrote a whole outline for a book called “Productive Procrastination: The only way the windows get washed around here” complete with book cover and everything.

So I knew I needed to find a way to buckle down and get some stuff done.
Enter my Nerdy Best Friend Beth Z in Nashville. (no really, that’s her brand and she’s a brilliant AI speaker! See? Once she asked me if I wanted to do Tomato Time.
“What’s that?” I asked.
“We set a time period and tell each other what we’re going to do. Then we go do it and connect at the end of the time period to see how it went!”
“And…tomatoes??”
Apparently, this method of productivity is based on the old-school tomato timer, actually called a pomodoro timer. (So much sexier in Italian!)
But whatever delicious food items the method is named after, IT WORKS!!
Accountability + deadlines + focus = PRODUCTIVITY!
Give it a try. Find a partner, set a timer, set your intentions and GO get ‘em Tiger!
