We’ve all seen those cute memes about how “everything you want is on the other side of your comfort zone,” or you should “do one thing every day that scares you…”
But how many of us actually take those consistent actions every single day?
Getting out of our comfort zone feels hard, mostly because there’s often fear associated with that new step.
Fear and courage are two sides of the same coin; you can’t have courage without fear, which also makes it so damn uncomfortable.
Fear is a good thing - it’s how our brains have kept us alive for millions of years, but it’s not always helpful when you need to have that tough conversation, or you want to do something you’ve never done before, or you want to try something again, even though you’ve failed in the past.
That’s why today I’m talking with Anne Bonney - author, international speaker, and host of Igniting Your Influence Podcast - so that we can dive into the sticky topics of life and learn how to tackle them head on, instead of stuffing our emotions or finding comfort in a bag of oreo’s.
